Review and Giveaway: Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler

I am excited to bring you this review (and giveaway!) from Rubbermaid! When we were living in Missouri, we were in a house and had the space for free standing recycling bins in the house. I have always been a big on recycling and I often feel like I am doing something wrong if I am not able to recycle. Weird, I know.

So, now we are in an apartment here in California and the kitchen space is not really limited, but laid out in kind of a funky way. There really isn’t much space for a trash can, let alone a free standing recycling bin. What’s a recycling gal to do?!

Welcome to my home, Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler!

Made out of recycled materials, this ingenious little workhorse is lightweight and great for small spaces. The recycler attaches to the inside of your cabinet using hooks (for us renters) or screws. The machine washable bag holds 5 Gallons (19 L) which is about 36 uncrushed cans and can even hold a gallon milk jug! (But, I will admit, when the milk jug is in there, you have to kind of work the other recyclables around it.) Once the recycler is full, simply lift the handle, unhook the bag and take to your large collection bin or recycling center.

This recycler is best for recycling programs that do not require you to sort your plastics and glass but if you know that your program is a separating program, at a purchase price of less than $20, why not just get 2?!

Overall, I am pleased with another great product from Rubbermaid! As a gift to you, I want to give you a chance to win your very own Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler! You can earn entries through MEMORIAL DAY, by following the Rafflecopter prompts below.
