Seven Quick Takes: Vol. 41

1.

PROJECT RUNWAY STARTED TONIGHT!!!

2.

Have I mentioned how much I love Proj Run?? I have watched every season (even that weird season-the first season on Lifetime- when Irina won, and the year that Mondo was robbed,)  and it’s crazy to think that it’s the 10th season!

3.

This Saturday, I am hoping to head to downtown L.A. to Michael Levine, a designer fabric (but at a discount) store. I am hoping to find a great deal on a bit of luxe fabric for the dress I am making for BILs wedding.

4.

I’ve got to find the right fabric for this dress. It’s made for a heavier weight (suiting fabric/ gabardine) as you need the weight for the drape, but the wedding is (obviously) in August and it’ll be hot.

5.

Speaking of BILs wedding, we leave for Wisconsin in 15 days. I am just happy that we all enjoy flying.

6.

One of the gifts DD1 received for her birthday was a series of German Language DVDs. I think we might try to transfer them to the iPad so she could learn some rudimentary German en route.

7.

Next week kicks off NFP/FAM Awareness week, so I hope you are looking forward to a week long series of posts all about NFP/FAM!

  1. I’m literally watching Project Runway right now. I got up early so I could watch it before I went into the hospital. :) I’m such a PR fan too. My favorite is still Santino (Season 2).

Good luck with finding your fabric! You should go on PR! :D

  2. I love Project Runway too!!! I honestly think I just watch for Tim Gunn. Make it work!
