Good morning, Lads and Ladies!! It’s been so long since I’ve written a Seven Quick Takes and this is my first blog post in over a week. There really just aren’t enough hours in the day…
1.
The Pregnancy with Turkey is rolling into the 34th week and so we are getting into the home stretch. Both girls arrived at around 38 weeks, so I am hoping that this one stays put until at least after November 3rd… as I have a Thirty-One Show that morning!

We’re beginning to experience our first inklings of peer pressure with the Bear at school and it’s something straight out of them movies. Yesterday (Thursday) she told me that her school mates find her lunches to be “disgusting” and why can’t I just pack her a sandwich cut into a butterfly shape? Yes, it’s was very much “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” You know the scene where she unpacks her Mousakkah and the Wonder Bread girls call it “Moose Cah-Cah.”

I figure we can compromise: On Fridays she can take PB and J sandwiches cut into the cute shapes.

Speaking of 34 weeks along, guess who has pretty much nothing done? This girl. Although there is not much to get done. I have to get our diapers out of storage, wash them and put them… somewhere. Last night I stitched together 8 diaper wipes (only 16 or so to go,) and made three more diapers (need to finish today.)

If anyone is wondering what to give as a baby gift? Snappis. Lots and lots of snappis. In all sizes. And maybe a few more diaper covers. I love fitted diapers and I usually use wool longies as covers (just about done with another pair,) but you can never have too many snappis or covers.
6.
Have I mentioned that I am a volunteer-a-holic? If you remember from my last 7QT post, there was an issue with the PTA. Well, since then: The President has stepped down, The Principal has been promoted to District Office and I (with another pregnant kindergarten mama) am co-chairing the Fundraising Committee. So: FUNDRAISING IDEAS WELCOMED!!

DH has started swimming again and this weekend we will be cheering him on at his first swim meet in many, many years. Yay, Daddy!
