The weather has warmed up in SoCal once again and thus, my hankerings for soups, stews and chilis have been foiled!! I will admit, I feel a ping of jealousy when I read friend status updates talking about all of the wonderful Fall foods they are enjoying… and it’s close to 90 degrees here. Boo.

*This meal is kind of up in the air, because Wednesday is Halloween and the kids will be trick or treating that night, ideally with some friends. Plus, the little bear has her Halloween parade at school that day at 2p… so we’ll be playing Halloween dinner by ear. I hope it does all work out because the mummy recipe looks really good!
Bon Appetit!!
