Can you believe that’s it’s already Gaudate Sunday?! Today’s Homily was pretty moving at our Parish. Father talked a bit about the juxtaposition of today being a day of rejoicing, while remembering the tragic events of Friday morning. There really is not a good way to reconcile the two, other than to say, as Christians we do not live for this earthly life. All that we do here on Earth is paving our way to an Everlasting Life with our Messiah!
And the outfit:

Sweater: JCP
Turtleneck: Target
Skirt: a little boutique I visited in Stillwater, MN (Tam- if you are reading this, can you help me out with the name?)
Boots: DSW
Hat (in lieu of my veil) : Homecoming Trunk Show
Fritz is wearing a cute little red and white sleeper from Target.
I’ve been wearing more hats to Mass rather than my veil as my veil is longer (think mantilla style) and it tends to shift and get tangled up in Fritzie when he decides to nurse. I figure, a covered head is a covered head, right?) Looking at this picture, I really need to work on my posture!
